SALVATION PACKAGE

Within us is God’s Spirit, Holy Spirit, that is part of God’s salvation package when we surrender our life to Jesus Christ and we make Him our personal Lord and Savior.  A surrender of our entire life (past, present and future) to let Him guide us in the trajectory of our life that has the guaranteed destination of the Promised Land.  However, our flesh nature of sin, the brokenness in this world, and the constant tug and pull of the Evil One in temptation, resistance, and distraction make our life trajectory extremely vulnerable and challenging.  That is why God gave us Holy Spirit to be with us in this challenging world and life.  To get the benefit of Holy Spirit we need to be connected to Him in our being, in our self.  That happens through being intentional in our Word time, in our Prayer time, and in our community with God’s people.  These are the channels where our thoughts become connected to Holy Spirit to get His guidance, His conviction, and His counsel.  Holy Spirit is a key part of our salvation package that requires action from us in our faith life to get His benefit.
